You just found out you’re pregnant. Now what? Join our pregnancy basics class, where you’ll learn lots of great info to keep you happy and healthy while you wait for your new baby. We’ll talk about nutrition, common pregnancy discomforts, stretches and exercises, and things you should make sure to either do or avoid.
This is a one time class, and is intended for people in their first or early second trimesters. It will be held in the Centering building behind Carteret OBGYN.

This class meets two Thursdays from 6PM to 8PM, and is designed for people who are pregnant or have babies less than one month old. We will limit each class to 16 adults. It will be held in the Centering Building behind Carteret OBGYN.
Classes will discuss feeding, bathing, dressing, and diapering. We’ll talk about car seat safety, normal newborn behavior, and postpartum depression. If you’re interested, we’ll also teach you about infant CPR and first aid, baby wearing, and cloth diapering.
Please bring any baby items you have questions about. This could include that beautiful carrier you bought that intimidates you, your new car seat, or the weird looking thing someone gave you that you’re supposed to stick in your baby’s nose!
